Hardee - Mary

Mrs. Mary Hardee, wife of Joseph Hardee, died at 7 o’clock p.m. Saturday March 29, 1884, of dropsy of the heart, in the 68th year of her age. The funeral services were conducted by Elder W. D. Owen at the family residence on Monday afternoon. Mrs. Hardee was one among the early pioneers of this county, having moved here from Kentucky with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Weir about 60 years ago. She was the mother of 10 children of whom 8 are now living, and all citizens of this county. She had been a consistent member of the Christian Church for more than 10 years. - kz
